Aboujaoudé Hospital being officially recognized by almost all Lebanese insurances, all third-party payers are accepted
Payment of hospital charges
The day of your release, you must go to the hospital cashier's office (first floor).
After the payment of your share (ex 10% of the expenses if covered by the Lebanese social security ...), a yellow color exit card is given to you after this formality. it will serve as a "pass" to exit the service and the facility.
Patients with private insurance (patients NOT covered by Lebanese social security)
If your hospital charges are covered, partly or in full, by a third party (i.e. your insurance plan), you must provide proof (usually a “guarantee of payment”) at the time of admission. If you do not have such a document in your possession, the hospital’s billing office can request it from your insurance carrier, provided that you present adequate proof of coverage at the time of admission, such as an insurance card. Please note that unless the hospital has a “guarantee of payment” before your discharge, you will be asked to pay the full amount of your hospital bill. Additionally, the hospital does not work directly with all insurance plans. In some cases, you may be required to pay your bill in full, and then file for reimbursement yourself.
In all cases, you must visit the Cashier’s Office on the day of your discharge to pay for charges that are not covered (such as your phone bill or room service).
